What are the entry requirements?  
The course is open to graduates of TCM with a minimum of 02-years completed training in Acupuncture.  Proof of qualification is  required.

We have specific departures for recent graduates only, plus we also run an Advanced group departure date for those who have been in practice for a number of years and would like to absorb themselves in a new environment to further explore Traditional Medicine in Vietnam for new ideas and skill development. The departure for 2015 is 6th March (Now full) - the next Advanced group will be announced shortly. Please email us for further details.

Are all programs taught in English?
At least 75% of the lectures and clinical experience are with English speaking doctors, a translator is provided for the remaining.

How long is my trip? 
The length of study in the hospital is 03 weeks  in total, Monday to Friday at the hospital with weekends free to explore. The full trip lasts 23 full days. Extensions of stay and continued study may be possible, please ask for further details.

What hours do I work in the hospital? 
Your days in the hospital are Monday to Friday. Your weekends are free to explore the beautiful city of Hanoi, or take a trip to one of the stunning must-see hotspots Northern Vietnam has to offer.

What recognition do I receive on completion of the course?   An award ceremony will take place on your final afternoon, where the Director of the Hospital and team will present you with a beautiful:

DIPLOMA in Acupuncture Vietnamese Massage & Cupping.

How many places are available?
Places are limited as Group sizes have been kept to a minimum, ensuring the most effective learning possible. There is a maximum of 4 students per group (on a ward on any given day), with an maximum of 2 groups within the hospital at any given period.  Therefore each departure has an ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM group size of 8 students.

What Is the 'Energetic healing Meditative Massage course? This new, extra special and truly unique course will take place during your stay at a separate venue in Hanoi. You will have 4 classes in total with a truly inspiring teacher, where you will learn about the extraordinary healing benefits gained through Meditative Massage techniques - Unique to AcuVietnam practitioners only.

- Bi-syndrome including chronic back-pain and musculoskeletal diseases, Vascular disorders, Gynaecology, Insomnia, Headaches, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Digestive disorders, Cardiovascular disorders with strong focus on Stroke & sequel of stroke, Paralysis, Pediatrics, Five Senses, Oncology, Oedema, Vertigo, Vietnamese Massage and Cupping, Vietnamese Qi-Gong & Vitality reservation, tongue, pulse & much more...

You will also be honoured with an introduction to some new and exciting schools of thoughts emerging out of Vietnam. Using a combination of the Medical 'I-ching' ( the book of changes), a  unique Pulse diagnosis method along with application of the five-phases points ( five transporting points), Luo-points, and xi-cleft points you can change the root of a disease – an inspiring treatment process delivered by a very special doctor.
