RELEVANT INFORMATION


What are the entry requirements? 
The entry requirements are dependant on the program chosen, as follows:

1. ACUPUNCTURIST'S PROGRAM: Open to licensed acupuncturists and graduates of TCM with a minimum of 02-years completed training in Acupuncture and/or Herbal medicine.  Proof of qualification  required.

2. MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS INTRODUCTION: Open to those with an excellent understanding of anatomy and ideally common physiology's. 

3. BEGINNERS PROGRAMS: Those with a keen interest in discovering more about themselves, others and the world. 



** NOTE: Within the Acupuncturist programs we have specific departures for recent graduates only, we also run Advanced group departures for those who have been in practice for a number of years and would like to absorb themselves in a new environment to further explore Traditional Medicine in Vietnam for new ideas and skill development. The departures available for 2018 are September and October only. Please email us for further details. **

Are all programs taught in English? 
100% of our trainings are delivered in English, the only exception is  a couple of Drs we work with on the Acupuncture program and our incredible Qi Gong Master, but we have full translation throughout. 

How long are the programs? 
The length of study is anything from 4 days (beginners - with additional levels of study at later date), and 2-3 weeks for the Medical and Acupuncturist programs.

All programs run only Monday to Friday (unless otherwise stated) with weekends free to explore. Extensions of stay and continued study may also be possible, please contact us for further details.

What hours are the trainings?  
These vary from program to program, and day-to-day please contact us for further info.

What recognition do I receive on completion?
For Medical students and Acupuncturists you will receive certs from the WHO hospital for time completed, in addition to AcuVietnam Certificate.

For all other programs we will provide an official AcuVietnam certification.

How many places are available?
Places are limited, our group sizes have been kept to an absolute maximum, ensuring the most effective learning possible.
For those programs including hospital training, students are divided into groups of maximum 4 permitted on a ward on any given day, with a maximum of 2 additional groups within the hospital at any given period. 

​We work across several venues in Northern Vietnam, to give you the most rounded and varied experience possible, hence we are are very careful to ensure the best experience awaits all 
AcuVietnam students.

The beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake lies minutes away where you can join the locals each morning for their morning Tai Qi and Qi Gong, a wonderful way to start the day!
