This method is today being practiced by more than 500,000 people in Vietnam today by Health Practitioners and also  by the locals in the comfort of their own home!

- At almost zero cost to those within poorer communities who cannot afford basic healthcare.

A fascinating new treatment therapy developed by the now famous and incredible Dr Bui Quoc Chau from Southern Vietnam, outside Ho Chi Minh city, Facial Reflexology, locally known as Dien Chan is an incredible new treatment method discovered in the early 1980’ by accident - when treating the epidemic of Opium addicted people, from the aftermath of the Vietnam War or American War (as known locally).

According to lengthy clinical experience, the past, the present and the future weaknesses are all written in our faces. Those of you who are trained in the special art of Face reading in TCM diagnostics, particularly with the well-renowned Lillian Bridges and the inspiring Deirdre Courtney will understand the importance of this diagnostic tool.

IMAGINE having the tools to rebalance your internal health with a couple of simple daily techniques in the comfort of your home?

EVERY FACE  SHOWS ILLNESSES that you have suffered in your past, in fact even the mental state can be reflected in your face – this is invaluable in our diagnostic procedure. As many of us know many disorders have their origin in the internal imbalance of the viscera.

Originating from Vietnam, Dien Chan is fast becoming a home treatment practiced by many local people to banish pain and sickness very quickly.

I first discovered this method by the now infamous Dien Chan Dr of the North, Dr Thao – who also studied under its founder Prof Bui Coc.

Dr Thao is a doctor of both allopathic and Eastern medicine, but in his busy clinic located just outside Hanoi city he now practices solely using Dien Chan and sees between 50-60 patients a day!

Are you a Health practitioner? Perhaps Dien Chan can help you achieve the high clinical turnover and gaining excellent clinical results - Whilst also acquiring more free time each day?

IMAGINE seeing 50-60 patients successfully a day – yet finished by lunchtime?

Only 5-10 minutes per treatment you ask?

YES, each treatment with Dien Chan lasts approximately 5-10 minutes
– a MAXIMUM of 15!

YES you heard that right, the same as the average length of time you get with your local Dr or GP in the West, but with Dien Chan you get drug-free and hence no side-effects...

Tools used in a treatment

In just 1-treatment?
Do the effects really last?

YES, sometimes just 1 treatment is necessary - HOWEVER it usually requires more than one treatment and the treatments close together, for the best and quickest long-term results. If we are dealing with pain, we aim for an 80% reduction in the 1st treatment; this may mean using our tools upon different areas of the body using a selection of different tools, with a yin or a yang effect.

Several areas may be treated within the short timeframe. Ideally we do not aim for a 100% symptom relief, as this can trigger a healing crisis or a reverse effect -  resulting in an exasperation of symptom occurrence.

We treat until there is full symptom clearance, and for a short time after to ensure longterm results.

- By simply by showing you and/or our patients how to use this therapy effectively (if recurrence of symptoms occur) both on themselves and on their loved ones in the comfort of their own home!

With Dien Chan we give the power back to the patient or loved one.

Is this related to acupuncture and channel theory?

NO it is not based on Classical Acupuncture, Dien Chan actually works using the microcosm principle, where the pain or diseased part of the body is treated using an image of the area placed upon another location in the body.

We stimulate the area of the brain connected to the diseased or sick area of the body.

Picture

How does it work?

The fundamental principle is to rebalance the body’s energy or Qi.

'To
naturally provoke our body’s own self-regulation or self-healing'.

We focus on Reflex points acting like a transmitter, receiving data of imbalances for the corresponding organ area. We simply seek the point(s) that can help regulate the specific area through quick and painless treatments.

All points we use in Dien Chan are connected to the area of the brain that corresponds to the organ or body area that is unwell, inflamed, or painful – NOTE: the points are not actually connected directly to the areas themselves.

Practitioners of Dien Chan simply stimulate this area, creating or activating a process called AUTO-REGULATION of the corresponding organ in that area.

Hence why a zone can be sensitive, even when a limb has been amputated, etc, therefore Dien Chan is a very effective treatment in phantom limb pain.

It is about selecting the perfect zone, the correct area along with the technique (there are 7 in total) and of course using the correct tool(s) – this is very important, as the material the tool is made of has a huge impact on the pathology you are treating.

Does it hurt?

No, certain points may become painful during the treatment, for example; if you are experiencing ongoing pain in your hip joint, like a darting pain... After a quick analysis of pain location, we would start by treating the edge of the nose around the Ala Nasi (depending on location of pain), as we begin to treat very often the pain will pull from the diseased area, and in this case the pain will now be occurring at this location on the nose.

We will treat using a number of methods that include rubbing, rolling, raking or just lightly holding a pointed instrument on the pain location until the pain is either completely cleared or considerably reduced. Following this we will either continue in the same area or move to another location on the face, head or hands, etc.

The results can be quite miraculous, in short time, little invasion, no removing of clothes or lying down and cheaper for patients!!

Why use this?

SIMPLE - It's Quick, effective, pain free and cheap! What more do you need?

you can treat yourself, all your family and friends!

Can I really use this at home or in my workplace? If I’m not an Acupuncturist or Healthcare worker; can I still learn and use this?

Yes absolutely, this treatment method is currently being used by more than 500,000 local Vietnamese people. It is a simple, effective method that you can use in your home to treat your loved ones. I am amazed at all the small Dien Chan groups coming together to treat at the temples here in Hanoi and surrounds, it’s a wonderfully soothing treatment and I feel privileged to be part of such a community.

Clinical Studies:

There are many clinical studies currently taking place using this method, with the same conclusion as follows;

“it has now been shown that Dien Chan works on activating reflex points on the face that stimulate a specific part of the brain linked to the injured or diseased area, whether it is muscular-skeletal or organ related – it simply activates the area and the treatment that follows work through the area to stimulate auto-regulation or self-healing within the patient.”

Where can I learn about this?
